The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20
¹ And God spoke all these words, saying:
       ² “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
       ³ “You shall have no other gods before Me.
       ⁴ “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; ⁵ you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, ⁶ but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
       ⁷ “You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
       ⁸ “ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. ⁹ Six days you shall labor and do all your work, ¹⁰ but the seventh day isIn it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. ¹¹ For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
       ¹² “ Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

       ¹⁴ “You shall not commit adultery.
       ¹⁵ “You shall not steal.
       ¹⁶ “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
       ¹⁷ “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

The internet can be a wonderful tool that can and has been used to glorify God. There is so much information out there that as been made available and that would not be available if it where not for the internet. However it is also a tool that Satan uses to spread misinformation that can destroy lives. There are also many out there in chat rooms and forums who have no problem spreading malice and hatred for Gods word. Many of these people are joined by others that say that Christians need to remain silent because you cannot legislate morality. However true that is, the problem is that in America today immorality is being legislated. Jesus said that if you are not for Him, you are against Him. He also stated that those who try to walk the fence are an abomination to Him. And many set on the sidelines and allow those that oppose God to tear our country apart.

Revelations 3
¹⁴ “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: ¹⁵ “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. ¹⁶ So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. ¹⁷ Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— ¹⁸ I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. ¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. ²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. ²¹ To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Through the state and federal government, groups like the ACLU are doing everything it can to get legislation passed to make it a crime to speak out against the sins of this nation. They are doing everything they can to kick God out of America. With the help of cowardly and crocked politicians and judges they have passed legislation that goes directly against Gods word and attempts to rid America of the Ten Commandments. The victories that they have achieved through legislation and the courts are not victories. But another slippery slope that is leading to the destruction of America. I'm afraid I have to join Rev. Jerry Falwell in saying that the sins of America is what brought the attacks of 9/11 on America. But the church must also shoulder much of the blame for what happened. Instead of ministering Gods word to America, churches are preaching nothing but a watered down version of the Gospel that is designed to do nothing but fill the pews on Sunday morning and leads to the same kind of atrocities like those that Hitler committed. Words of deceit are being preached instead of the word of God. Ministers are commanded to teach the whole word of God. They will be held accountable for not doing so.

1 Thessalonians 2

¹ For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain. ² But even after we had suffered before and were spitefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we were bold in our God to speak to you the gospel of God in much conflict. ³did not come from error or uncleanness, nor was it in deceit. ⁴ But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. ⁵ For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness—God is witness.⁶ Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as apostles of Christ. ⁷ But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children. ⁸ So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us. ⁹ For you remember, brethren, our labor and toil; for laboring night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.

Just trying to fill the pews is not leading to the salvation of people, it is leading to a complete distortion of the Gospel and a preaching of the doctrine if political correctness. This doctrine does nothing but tickle peoples ears. All people want to hear is something that makes them feel good about themselves no matter what sin it is they are caught up in. They don't want to hear that they are sinners who cannot save themselves. What is going on is that men and women are being taught that they are the god of their life. This is the same thing that God has been dealing with since the incident in the Garden.

Genesis 3

¹ Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
² And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; ³ but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
⁴ Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. ⁵ For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Satan's attempt to get man to play the roll of God has not stopped there. Satan has used the abortion industry to do the same thing. Now man is saying to God, we do not need you. We are in control of our own destiny. We have the right to determine how to create life and control who should be born and who should not. This has lead to stem cell research and cloning which is nothing more than man trying to create life to destroy it in order to make life better for those that it sees fit to live. It is unfortunate that bad things happen to people. But as I said, this industry is nothing more than another attempt of man to play God.

Genesis 11

¹ Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. ² And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. ³ Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. ⁴ And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
⁵ But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. ⁶ And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. ⁷ Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” ⁸ So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. ⁹ Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

Mans attempts to reach heaven and play God has brought about much destruction and hardship for mankind. God has always dealt with anyone who sets themselves up as a god and who chooses to live a life of immorality. Life today is no different than before the flood where God made an attempt to rid the world of sin. However, He knew mans heart. And He knew that man would continue to choose to live in sin rather than surrender to Him in obedience. That is where many choose to deliberately ignore what the Cross of Christ is all about.

From Passion To Action is a project that I hope will be used to spread the truth of the Gospel. It is a project that seeks to use the internet, as many others are doing, to spread Gods word and to make information available for all who have a passion for Christ and wish to turn that passion into action for Christ. To start with, as I said there is so much misinformation out there and those that put it out there do so to keep the world from knowing the truth behind their movements. A clear example of this is Planned Parenthood. The founder of Planned Parenthood was Margaret Sanger. As a mother and a wife in the early 1900's she became very bored with her life and became caught up in the eugenics movement that had taken hold of many countries in Europe. She was responsible for bringing that movement to America. This movement was and is nothing more than a movement of bigotry. Her and her contemporaries where in fact some of the biggest bigots of that time. Their intention was to create a great race of people by purging the world of people that they considered undesirable. Planned Parenthood however, has tried the paint Margaret Sanger as a hero of the modern day feminist. However, her own words reveal the true source of what Planned Parenthood is all about. These are some of the things that many have deliberately closed their eyes to and simply refuse to research for themselves wither they are true or not. They simply deny that they ever happened. I have collected quit a bit of information and links to many sources. There is no need to place all the links to those sources on this page since I already have made them available on other pages on my sites. You can simply just go to these pages and explore those links.

I would encourage you to visit these pages and click on any of the links for yourselves and read the information that has been given. The next thing I encourage you to do is to download as much of that information as you can. And then pass it on. I especially encourage you to download copies of Margaret Sangers works, as well as her contemporaries, and read for yourselves just what her own words, and theirs are. Groups like Planned Parenthood and the ACLU have been working together to keep people from knowing the truth about Margaret and her friends and how their actions go directly against Gods words. God is a God of life. But He will not allow sin to enter heaven. That is why Satan was kicked out. I urge you not to tempt Him as so many have done by trying to play God. There is only one God. And that is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the God who created you and me. He sent His Son to pay the price for our sins. But you must surrender to Him in order to claim the benefits of eternal life. Join with me in spreading the truth of the Gospel and the truth about these movements that have set themselves up against God and His word. Join the From Passion To Action project and make your voices heard. The politicians and judges in America are a reflection of the people of America. If Christians refuse to stand up for Christ then these same polititions will be a reflection of Gods judgment on America.
